Logbook and sign-out form

These two are combined here.

Before taking any craft on the water:

  • check its reported status/ condition on the whiteboard
  • check that it is not already signed out in the online logbook
  • fill the sign-out form

Upon return, report any issue/snag/damaged item:

  • on the whiteboard, so that other members are aware of it
  • email the fleet captain or bosun, so that they can plan the required repair

Work hour Submission Form

After completing a task agreed upon with a supervisor (Steering Committee member or Fleet Captain or Bosun), use this form to submit your work hours.

Guest waiver

Whenever a club member takes a guest who is not a member out on water, the guest must submit a completed Guest Waiver Form as follows:

  • Fill in the information on the guest waiver form
  • Sign the form - note that a witness signature is needed
  • Put the signed form in the Guest Waiver Box in the club room, labelled "Guest Waivers"

A non-member guest should only have to do this once EVERY YEAR.

The Guest Waiver Form is important to ensure the guest is fully aware of the risk and club policies. By ensuring their guests fill and sign it, members helps prevent potential legal issues for the club.

Should a member fail to do so, they can be held responsible for any legal issue that arises.
