A slice of 1970s club history

In the early 1970s, what is now Jericho Sailing Centre was just the smallest of 4 old decrepit RCAF hangars, the 3 others soon to be dismantled.
Peter Stricker is a former UBC graduate and UBC Sailing Club Fleet Captain. He was a member from 1972 to 1975. Recently retired, he kindly shared with us the story of his time at UBCSC, along with cool vintage pictures. Enjoy his Musings of a Former UBC Sailing Club Member and Fleet Captain.
