Enjoy a relaxing "Full Moon Friday" evening paddle featuring stunning views of the downtown Vancouver skyline. Experience the sky turning a vibrant orange as the sun sets directly into the sea.

Evening Schedule

6:30pm Gear setup and kayak preparation.

7:00pm Launch from Jericho, paddling East.

7:45pm-8:15pm Raft up near blue house (or land on Linnea beach, see pic from last year). Please bring your own snacks & non-alcoholic drinks!

8:15pm Start paddle back toward Jericho, enjoying the sunset on the water.

9:00pm Return to Jericho before sunset at 9:06pm (May 29)

Post-Trip Practice: If you wish to stay on the water near Jericho after sunset—for a short paddling or to practice capsize recoveries and rolling—you are welcome to do so. However, please note that Navigation Lights are mandatory for paddling after sunset.

Safety Note: This is a self-guided group paddle; no motorboats or coach boats will be accompanying the trip.
