Summer Season 2022
Welcome back to our returning members and welcome aboard to those joining us this season! The UBCSC is now accepting membership registration for both non-students and students. We are excited to dust off our wetsuits and hit the waves again. Lesson sign-up for beginner sailing is now live and already filling up! Stay tuned on our website and social media for more lessons as they become available, along with trips and events..
Calling All Hype Masters
Speaking of social events...If you are enthusiastic about the watersports community, excel in coordination, and envision creative hangouts at the club then we want to hear from you! A flair for photography is also desirable to capture the stoke you have generated. Email us with examples of events, experience, and why you believe you would be the right fit for social events coordinator. Past gatherings have included BBQ's, hangar parties, and the Keats trip - but the world is your oyster!
Clubs' Day @ UBC - Volunteer Opportunity
Help others find your sport and get a jump on having your work deposit refunded. Volunteer to lead our booth set-up, schedule shifts, and assist in member recruitment. The event will take place at the UBC campus on Feb 16 beginning at 10:30am. Email us to organize this event or volunteer here. Everyone is invited to attend!
Workbox Wednesday's
Do you need some more work hours before the 2022 season begins? Join Meryem on Wednesday evenings, from 5-8pm, to help out with a variety of upkeep and maintenance tasks. Work events will be held on the following dates: February 16th and March 2nd, 9th, and 16th. Please email volunteer@ubcsailing.org if interested or for inquiries.

Do what you love! Join our team of passionate and dedicated instructors in imparting your knowledge to students. Find out information under the "Instructors" tab on our website. Email your resume and motivation to hello@ubcsailing.org with the subject "Instructor Application."
Job Openings with the ASABC
The Adaptive Sailing Association of BC, also based at the Jericho Sailing Centre, is currently hiring for two positions: Sailing Instructor and Program Office Coordinator.
