Sail and Climb at Lighthouse Park - VOC Collab

This is a collaboration between the UBC Sailing Club and Varsity Outdoor club where we bring our respective water and rock skills to the table. We use our sailing kills to propel us to Lighthouse for some top roping at Juniper Point.

Schedule:

We will have a morning group and an afternoon group. Each group drives one way and sails one way.

Morning Group: 

9am:  Meet at at JSCA and drive to Lighthouse park

10am - 12:30pm: Climb at Juniper point

1pm: Meet at switch over spot and sail back to JSCA on Quests

Afternoon Group

11am: Meet at JSCA to rig Quests

12pm: Sail to lighthouse park 

1pm: Arrive at switch over spot and have morning group take over your boat

1pm-3:30pm: Climbing at Juniper point

4pm: Drive back home

Registration:

Please sign up for either the morning or afternoon group. If we run out of room, please sign up for the wait list

You have to register as a social member in order to sign up for this event.

Gear:

If you dont have climbing gear, this can be borrowed from the VOC during gear hours at their club room in the AMS nest at UBC. We will send out an email with gear requirements and what to bring in the next week.
