Navigation, Safety, and Trip Planning Seminar

Ever interested in planning your own kayak trips? Let's go over basic navigation, weather forecasting, tides, currents, charts and trip planning on April 15th from 6-9PM. We will have a few charts, tide/current tables, compasses and plotters to play. GPS, VHFs etc are encouraged too as we may talk about the use of those too.

The lesson will be taught by our fearless kayaking instructors Alberto, Lucy, and Caitlin, but non-kayakers who are interested in trips away from Jericho are welcome to attend, as much of the content will be relevant.

There will be some food and drinks, time to socialize with fellow club members and three instructors to help you come up with a trip plan by the end of the session!
