Have previously taken an intermediate windsurfing class.

Need to refresh your windsurfing skills?

This refresher is open to any member who's taken a beginner windsurfing class in the past (whether or not you achieved windsurfing L1 certification).

We'll be covering safety, wind theory and points of sail, inspecting and carrying gear, windsurfing positions and tacking, and any other topics you want to go over. Bring your warm wetsuit, because we will get on the water to practice sailing and get some tips from experienced instructor(s).

This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, build comfort with the windsurfing equipment, and get to know other UBC windsurfers in anticipation of the summer windsurfing season ahead!

We might end the session with an informal race if conditions are right.
