Windsurfing Refresher and Social (L1+ welcome)

Need to refresh your windsurfing skills? 

This free refresher is open to anyone who has taken a windsurfing L1 class in the past and wants to review the safety and skills required for windsurfing. 

We will be covering safety, wind theory, carrying gear, windsurfing positions and tacking. Bring your wetsuit, because we will get on the water to practice sailing and tacking and get some tips from experienced instructors. 

This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, and build comfort with the windsurfing equipment and get to know other UBC windsurfers in anticipation of the summer season of windsurfing! 

We might end the session with an informal race if conditions are right. 

We will meet at the picnic tables at 11am.
