Join us for a purely magical experience! Watch the Celebration of Light from the water without all the crowds!

We will meet at the picnic tables at Jericho Sailing Centre on the event day and then kayak towards English Bay to watch the fireworks from the ocean. The fireworks start at 10pm! Meet at picnic table for chatting / socializing starting 1845.

Our kayak fleet will be accompanied by a motorized safety boat. Waterproof headlamps are required for all participants. We encourage glow in the dark attire so make you extra bright on the water. This event is only open to active members of the UBCSC, and all participants must be Kayak I - Basic certified or above to attend this event.

There are 3 nights (July 20. July 24, July 27) for the Celebration of Light so please register one night only so that everyone gets a chance to attend.

This event is limited to 12 spots.
