Shred both types of white caps in the same day! Your day will start at sea level and ascend 2km above it by sunset.
Bring your ski/boarding gear to Jericho Sailing Centre where we will rig and sail the Quests before driving up to Cypress mountain to ski. After sampling various phases of water throughout the day, it will be polished off with beer at a brewery.

This is a joint event for members of the VOC and Sailing Club. The plan is for sailing club members to take the reins during the sailing portion of the day and take out 1 or 2 VOC members on Quests. For that reason, we need sailing club members to be intermediate certified or have at least 1 full season as a beginner under their belt.
Signing up for this trip does not guarantee registration due to limited capacity. We will confirm your registration by February 28th.

Date: March 8th at 10am. Pre trip meeting: March 6th at 6pm in the VOC room at the lower floor of the UBC Nest (next to Grand Noodle Emporium).
Time: Sailing 11-1pm, Skiing/Boarding: 5-10pm
Gear: You can rent ski gear from Cypress and you can get a free wetsuit rental from UBC Scuba Diving Society. We will discuss this in more detail at the Pre-Trip meeting.
Lift tickets: Please purchase an afternoon ticket yourself on their website after the pre trip meeting.
