Thank you to those who filled out the fleet renewal survey and those who joined our live discussion on April 15. We had a good turnout and appreciated everyone’s input. There is more work ahead to narrow down the possible fleet options into a workable plan now.
It was evident during the meeting that many of you are keen to help and have useful advice. We are forming a Fleet Renewal Sub-Committee with Nina and Lillian as chair and vice chair, respectively. We would like to invite anyone who is passionate about the Club and would like to contribute to fleet planning to join this group. The Sub-Committee will meet regularly via Zoom for the duration of this project. Its purpose is for members to work together in planning the fleet renewal so that it benefits all members of the Sailing Club.
If you are interested in joining the Sub-Committee, or would like to submit feedback to be considered regarding fleet renewal, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, please include your primary area of interest (i.e. sailing, windsurfing or kayaking). We will then get back to you with more details.
