Hello fellow Sailors,
It is almost time for us to take off those sweaters and ski boots and hop back into our wetsuits. March is right around the corner and returning members’ night is just one month away. We are beyond excited to see you all again soon!
We are working hard to prepare for this upcoming season and have some exciting things planned this year. From a (overdue) UBC SC 60th birthday party to our regular BBQs and Tuesday night racing we cannot wait for the season to start.
The steering committee appreciates your commitment to the club and we are well aware that the club would not be what it is without our amazing volunteers. Therefore, we have implemented a work hour incentive or what we like to call the Nautical Miles Program to show our appreciation. You can find out more about this below.
Is there anything else you would like to see this season? Do you have feedback that could help us? Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at email@example.com, and we’ll do our best to learn from and implement your feedback.
– Nina Bernhardt and the Steering Committee
